What we collect
ClassVocab collects only the information needed to operate the service: teacher email addresses for account creation, and student display names and PINs created by teachers for class rosters. Typing session results (speed, accuracy, and key-error data) are stored to provide progress tracking and leaderboards.
COPPA compliance
ClassVocab is designed for use in K–8 classrooms. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Student accounts are created and managed by teachers (the verified adults responsible for the class). Students identify themselves by display name and PIN only — no email address or other personal information is required from students.
How we use your data
Data is used solely to provide the ClassVocab service: showing leaderboards, tracking progress, and delivering teacher analytics. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or any purpose unrelated to the service.
Data retention
Teachers may delete student accounts and their associated data at any time from the class management dashboard. You may request deletion of your teacher account and all associated data by emailing us at feedback@classvocab.com.
